  • Glogster - Glogster is an interesting interface that allows users to create posters in a unique way. It allows users to incorporate videos, text, music, graphics and photos onto their poster.

  • Yammer - Yammer allows teachers to utilize a social networking site in an entirely appropriate way. It allows students to keep up on due dates, important information and keep in touch with their teachers in a 21st century manner.

  • Google Translate - Google Translate allows for users to quickly translate text or a document into over 50 languages. With the diversity of our schools today it's important that teachers are able to communicate with their students families.

  • Animoto - Animoto is a website that enables users to compile pictures in a fun way. I can see using this in my future classroom as a great way to introduce myself to my class and for them to see me in a fun, unique way.

  • Google Earth - Google Earth is a mapping website that allows users to search for a location and to see it via satelite. I see this as a tool that would be very exciting and appealing to students.

  • YouTube - YouTube is an extremely popular website that hosts videos from a wide variety of sources whether it be through personal or professional avenues.

  • Wetoku - Wetoku is a website that allows users to video chat with one another and record it which enables viewers to see both sides of the chat.

  • Wordle - Wordle is an online program that allows users to create graphics comprised of words that the user inputs. It creates unique collages that are very visually appealing.

  • Voki - The Voki online program allows users to create avatars. These avatars can be placed in blogs, profiles or even sent through emails.

  • Rubistar - Rubistar is a very useful program that allows teachers to create their own rubrics or use pre-made ones.
